Itinerary ( 16 Days / 15 Nights  )

Day 01: Arrival Yangon

Arrive at Yangon International Airport (the main gateway to Myanmar). Welcome and transfer to hotel. Relax and sightseeing includes; Great Shwe Da Gon Pagoda (One of the wonder of the World and itself is a solid brick stupa (Buddhist reliquary) that is completely covered with gold. It rises 326 feet (99 m) on a hill. Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, huge 72 metre Reclining Buddha Image. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 02: Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo ( Golden Rock )

Breakfast at hotel and morning leave for Kyaikhtiyo by private a/c car, enjoy a scenic journey by road to Kyaiktiyo, 190km to the east. One of Myanmar’s great pilgrimage sites is the Golden Rock at Kyaiktiyo, a huge boulder covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Late morning, arrive at Kyaiktiyo base camp and transfer to the transit junction with one of the small open trucks in a one hour ride. After lunch, start an easy walk up to the Golden Rock and enjoy sunset from this unforgettable site. Overnight at hotel in Kyaiktiyo.

Day 03: Kyaikhtiyo - Bago - Yangon

Breakfast at Hotel. Drive down back to base camp and back to Yangon. On the way to Yangon, sightseeing in Bago includes Shwe Maw daw Pagoda, the landmark of the bago, it is over 2,000 years old and 114 m high. Shwe Tha Lyaung, a reclining Bhddha Image, 55 m in length & 16 m in height. Kanbawza Thadi Palace built by king Bayintnaung in 15th Century and Kyaikpun, four sitting back to back Buddha images. And proceed back to Yangon. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 04: Yangon - Heho ( By Flight ) - Pindaya

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to airport flight to Heho. Arrive at Heho airport and drive to Pindaya. Visit to Pindaya Market, Pindaya Cave and back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Pindaya.

Day 05: Pindaya - Inle lake

Breakfast at hotel. Then drive to Nyaung Shwe, enroute sightseeing the way of life of Myanmar tribes. Arrive at Nyaung Shwe Jetty and transfer to hotel. Then sightseeing by private boat. Sightseeing includes; a chance to see the leg-rowing fishermen. Continue to see the floating gardens, built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. In the afternoon continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. Back to hotel and overnight at hotel in Inle lake.

Day 06: Inle lake

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, visit In Dein Village in the south of the lake by private boat. From the middle of the lake, continue down a small canal leading to the village of In Dein, a recently opened area in Shan State. After a walk around the village, passing a local school, take the covered stairway to the beautiful Alaung Sitthou area where ancient stupas are partly covered by vegetation. From here there is a magnificent view over the lake. If time allow, the weaving village of Inpawkhon and the jumping cat monastery. And back to hotel and overnight at hotel in Nyaung Shwe.

Day 07: Inle lake - Kalaw ( trekking )

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Kalaw, Hill station, at an altitude of 1320 meter, it is pleasantly cool. The trekking trip, Kalaw – Palaung Villages, Thaye Umin Cave and Ywa Taw village can be covered. And can stroll in the grove of pine trees and breathe fresh air. Palaung Village is two hrs away if you take short way and four hrs through the hills. Evening back to hotel and overnight at hotel in Kalaw.

Day08 : Kalaw - Heho - Mandalay ( by flight ) - Amarapura - Innwa - Mandalay

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning drive to Heho airport and flight to Mandalay. Arrive at Mandalay airport and sightseeing includes Mahagandaryone Monastery for offering alm food to thousand monks, Mahamuni Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha himself, Tapestry works, Wood carving & bronze castling workshops, Marble carving workshop and silk weaving home cottage. Afternoon excursion includes; Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monstery – noted for its exquisite wood carvings, gold leaf beating workshop, Atumashi Monstery, Kuthodaw Pagoda – known as the world biggest book and finish the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the sun-set and the panoramic view of the city. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 09: Mandalay - Mingun - Sagaing - Mandalay

Breakfast at Hotel. Moring drive to Jetty and take private boat to visit Mingun Bell, Settawya Pagoda and Hsinbyume Pagoda by boat across the Ayeyarwaddy River and romantic country side. Afternoon, visit U Min Thonezai Pagoda, Sagaing Hill and environ. Drive back to Mandalay. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 10: Mandalay - Bagan ( Shwe Keinnery or Malikha Cruise )

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Gaw-wein Jetty. This boat will take you about more or less 8 hrs start from 7 am and arrive at Bagan 4 pm. Arrive at Bagan Jetty and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day11: Bagan

Breakfast at hotel. Then sightseeing in Bagan ( By horse-card ) includes: Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda – the prototype for later Myanmar pagodas built by King Anawrahta, Ananda Temple – King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowing achievement of the early style temple of architecture. Kyansitha Umin, Thatbyinnyu Temple – the highest building on the Bagan plain and Htilominlo Temple – the largest temples of Bagan. Evening visit Lacquer-ware making home cottage, Manuha Temple, Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi Temple – known for its wall paintings depicting scenes from the Jataka and Dhamanyangyi Temple. Evening sun-set view of Bagan from Buphaya or Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day12:  Bagan - Thandwe - Ngapali Beach ( By flight )

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to airport flight to Thandwe. Arrive at Thandwe airport and transfer to Hotel. Day at leisure in Ngapali Beach. Overnight at hotel in Ngapali Beach.

Day13: Ngapali Beach

Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Ngapali Beach.,

Day14: Ngapali Beach

Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Ngapali Beach.,

Day 15: Ngapali Beach - Thandwe - Yangon ( By Flight )

Breakfast at hotel. Relax and transfer to airport flight back to Yangon. Arrive at Yangon and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 16: Yangon - Departure

Breakfast at hotel. If time allow, sightseeing in down town area, Sule Pagoda and Bogyoke Market (Scott Market) for free shopping. Then transfer to airport for your departure.
