
The journey on Ayeyarwaddy (Irrawaddy) River lets you have a
memorable experience. The river provides you an opportunity
to see one of the most interesting areas in Myanmar onboard

Myinmu
A fair town located at the west of Ayeyarwaddy river. Myinmu
can also be reach by motor road, 39 miles south of Mandalay.
A staple produce is rice as well as vegetables. The vast
land of banana plantation are around Myinmu and export
neighboring region.

Pakkoku
Town of Magwe division, west central Myanmar, on the west of
Irrawaddy River, south of the confluence with the Chindwin.
The surrounding arid regions are interspersed between the
fertile valleys of the Yaw, Myittha, and Mone rivers, where
millet, sugar, maize, vegetables, rice, and tobacco are
cultivated. Pakoku offers a huge variety of local goods and
is famous for jaggery, thanaka logs, longyis, checkered
blankets made of cotton and of course the famous cheroots,
so popular with thousands of elderly Myanmar ladies!
